Review

I’m lucky enough to be a part of TalkNerdy2Me’s blogger group and got an ARC copy of Ignite Me. This book was absolute fire and I devoured it. From the opening line to the final words, I was consumed by Rory & her men; waiting with bated breath to see them all get the HEA they deserved. 

As with the other three books, Ignite Me is full of possible triggers and lots of swearing. But I’m assuming if you’ve read books 1-3 of the Watch Me Burn series, you’re ok with all that. Along with the MM scenes, this book does have a FF scene so be warned. Without giving anything away, I must say I was thrilled with the developments with a few other men in Rory’s harem. I’ll leave it at that and let you figure it out for yourself. 

Ignite Me throws you right back into the middle of one of the most epic scenes in the series where we learned Slash wasn’t dead. Gasp! I was THRILLED to find out he survived the shootout because I was heartbroken, right along with Rory, when I thought he died. SO MUCH happens in this book that I want to talk about but can’t because spoilers.

If I’m being honest here, Ignite Me was my favorite of the series so far, which is fitting since it’s the finale to Rory’s story. It felt so action packed and full of so many twists and turns I had no idea what to expect next. It was extremely action-packed and definitely NOT a predictable storyline (which I really dig). As I mentioned before, the happily ever after at the end of the book is well earned and needed to be fought for with blood, sweat and tears. 

This is an absolute must read series for me and I cannot say enough good things about it. I’m thrilled that the Watch Me Burn series is continuing because I’m not ready to say goodbye to this world yet. It seemed like there were some breadcrumbs left to get you thinking about Perfectly Jaded, book 5 in the series. I can’t wait!
