So I have been anticipating Everleigh's books for so long! I loved her personality from the beginning. After reading this book I am even more obsessed with her. I have a total girl crush and want to be her bestie. Please and thanks! Also, Archer is such a yummy contradiction. He's big, musuclar, tattooed, pierced and a total sweetheart. He's not your stereotypical male lead and I truly loved his charater. He blushes! I mean.. Swoon!
As to be expected from a Kennedy Fox book this one is a slow burn. The heat builds constinuosly through the whole book. I wanted a bit more, but the moments that are there were too spicy for words! And Everleigh and Archer needed to work their way into the intimacy between them.
Archer and Everleigh didn't start off with a friendship. They had to build one. I really enjoyed watching them get to know each other and build a beautiful bond. And this is while they're trying to figure out if someone is following him, her, them? Who's the mystery person in the Escalade?
This book ends with a cliffhanger. This is also to be expected, but every single time I'm surprised by how unexpected the ending events are. Like wtf just happened?? Nice job! I'm impatiently waiting for book two.
