Moxie by C.M. Stunich - "...our love is like a fairytale. It has a beginning, a middle, and a happily ever after, but it doesn't have an end."

Moxie by C.M. Stunich

Book Blurb:

MOXIE is the third and final book in the "Rock-Hard Beautiful Trilogy" by International Bestselling Author C.M. Stunich beginning with the book GROUPIE...

WARNING: This book ends with one girl finding her happily ever after with five handsome guys, opening the endless well of love in her heart to the rock band, Beauty in Lies.
The pages herein contain graphic sex, lovemaking, quickies, romance, world travel, a little guy on guy action, admissions of love, rock 'n' roll music and genuine friendship. This book should only be read by those who've got a little moxie in their step.

“What would you do if you were in love five times over?”

Lilith Tempest Goode.
The one and only groupie for the rock band, Beauty in Lies.
One woman on a world tour with her five rockstar soulmates.

She's the moon and they, they are her stars. The whole world seems to shine a little brighter when they're together, carrying them through Ireland, England, Japan, Australia...and back to the city of Seattle to start their real lives together.

Five guys. One girl with a lot of moxie and a boatload of spirit. That's what it takes to make a fresh start.

If they can open the gilded cage of their grief, let it fly free on wings of hope, they'll have a future together.

But real life is different than a rock 'n' roll tour.
They might've healed their souls, but can they mingle their hearts?
Seattle, Washington. Six broken people on the mend. One happily ever after.

MOXIE is a full-length new adult erotic rockstar read. This book is a MMMFMM romance/menage romance/reverse harem story with one lucky girl and her five lovers. But this is about more than sex. This is about love and heartache and fresh truths covering up old hurts. This book is about music and romance and unconventionality. Book one in the series is titled GROUPIE and book two is ROADIE. This is the final installment.

Okay, so being completely honest here. I just finished Moxie and I am not okay. I'm not ready to leave the Rock-Hard Beautiful world. I feel like these characters imprinted themselves into my soul. Lilith Tempest Goode. Paxton Charles Blackwell, Ransom Riggs, Derek Micah "Muse" Muser, Copeland Park, Michael Luxe. Their hurts, sorrow, and finally healing became a part of me. I've felt "close" to characters before, but never this close. That right there is true magic. The life and love in those pages, in the trilogy as a whole, just took root and grew inside me.

Lilith and her rockstars have made it overseas on the first part of the world tour. She has a plan to see as much as she can in each city they visit. The guys do their best to make sure her wish comes true. They're all still growing closer as a whole, and enjoying the tour. But something darker lucks as Lilith notices something is definitely off with both Pax and Muse. Of course, the other guys notice as well and some will prod at them to get them to speak up. But Lilith is a special, patient woman. She basically just tries to love the issues out of them. She knows they'll talk when they're ready.

So much happened in Moxie, that I'm still processing. I like to think I usually get a feel or a sense of where a storyline is going or what's going to happen next, and C.M. blew me away a few times. The crew visit Paxton's family home and so much good and bad happens here. It's hard to describe without spoiling some of the story if it hasn't been read. I strongly encourage you to dive off the deep end and read this trilogy if you haven't. We all confront our issues and demons in different ways, and man my mind just about blew up at some of these scenes.

We find out more about Paxton's issues with his parents, and Derek's history of being raped as a child. This. Broke. Me. Don't worry I was rebuilt by the end. I promise. There's an HEA at the end of this one too! I learned so much about each character with every page I turned. With each new fact they dug themselves deeper into my heart. Each of Lilith's guys are special in their own way, but Pax, Muse, and Ran took the cake. Maybe since they were the messiest?

Eventually, the world tour comes to an end and they return to Seattle where the guys reside. Lilith has chosen to have her own place instead of picking who to live with. Now is the true test of how they'll adjust in their daily lives. Lilith grew so much as a woman in this trilogy. This woman went from wrecked, broken, homeless, and hopeless to thriving. Absolutely thriving. She loves five guys, but she has also grown to love herself.

I do have to say one thing. The M/M scenes from the prior books definitely reach a crescendo in Moxie. Super hot scenes. The action definitely escalates, but not in the way you would expect. I did learn what I expected does end up happening, but it's mentioned in passing instead of as a scene. I was hungry for a fill on scene. Overall, I was satisfied, but also wanting more if that makes sense? Per C.M.'s website I know she has an extended epilogue planned for this trilogy called Reverie. Maybe I'll get what I feel like I missed "seeing"? Maybe it's just me? I've begged before, but I truly beg you now. If you haven't read this trilogy, are a fan of, or don't mind, RH and M/M scenes, read the Rock-Hard Beautiful trilogy.

RATING: 5/5 STARS ✰✰✰✰✰
