Roadie by C.M. Stunich - "Grief and love … the only true immortals in this world."

Roadie by C.M. Stunich
 Book Blurb:

WARNING: This book features one stronghearted young woman and her five rockstar lovers. All six of them are struggling to overcome their dark pasts while falling more deeply in love.

P.S. Nobody said she had to pick just one.

Turn the page only if you enjoy true love, raw grief, genuine human connection, rock 'n' roll, and books with unfiltered, unashamed sex.

“I'm in love with five bad boy rockstars. But is our love strong enough to overcome our tragedy?”
Lilith Goode is dating—and in love with—five gorgeous rockstars.
She shares her body, her heart, and her soul with each one of them.

Paxton is the leader, covered in tattoos, and cocky as hell.
Michael is the bad boy determined to change his ways.
Ransom is the scarred one, dark and beautiful.
Muse is the practical one, the enigma with a silver mohawk.
Copeland is the boy next door with a penchant for reading romance novels.

Together, these six twisted souls make up one beautiful whole.
But can one woman really love five different men?
What if they're all tattooed, pierced, scarred, and broken?
And what if they all need her as much she needs them?

Their love is as unconventional as their music.
Rock 'n' roll, romance, redemption.
A story about finding beauty everywhere … even in a lie.

Roadie, Book #2 in the Rock-Hard Beautiful Trilogy
A New Adult Erotic Rocker Romance from International Bestselling Author C.M. Stunich

***ROADIE is a 90,000 word novel about strong emotions, difficult pasts, and vibrant love. It contains bad boy rockers, rock 'n' roll concerts, handcuffs, friendship, explicit sex scenes and forgiveness. This is a MMMFMM book with a STRONG focus on the woman (although there is some light M/M in here, too) aka a reverse harem novel (one woman, five guys). It has a happy ending, NO cliff-hanger, and is the second book in a trilogy.

C.M. Stunich is a master. I don't feel like I have enough words to explain how these first two books have made me feel. I was enthralled by Groupie. And Roadie just brought it all to another level. These characters dug themselves deeper into my heart. Their pains, struggles, and emotions are just so real. Real doesn't seem like a strong enough word to describe them.

Lilith continues the tour with her guys. They all have a darkness inside that they're struggling with and some issues come to a head in this book. This book delves so much deeper into the guys' pasts. Cope panics and second guesses building a relationship with Lilith based on a past loss. Can he really go through this again? And share his girl with his four best friends? Michael discovered his girlfriend (pre-Lilith) was cheating on him with his brother in the previous book. We see he's not ready to confront what happened there. His relationship with his brother causes a lot of strain for Michael.

In Groupie we find out Paxton and Ransom used to be best friends, but four years ago tragedy struck, and they lost people who were close to them. Paxton blames Ransom. There are some awfully painful interactions between Pax and Ran in both Groupie and Roadie where Pax lashes out. Ransom never gets angry or loud. It was awesome seeing this play out from each of their perspectives. In Roadie, Lilith's presence, and ability to confront her pain ends up pushing the guys to confront their own issues. It also starts to awaken an attraction they never realized they had for each other. Paxton. And. Ransom. Straight fire. These scenes must be experienced if you enjoy some M/M action in your books.

Finally, we have Muse. Muse holds such a special place in my heart. His darkest pain and trauma comes out. He doesn't share his full story, but the picture is a little clearer now. This book brought the tears. Not just for what Muse experienced, but many other times as well. Lilith is finally able to visit her childhood home and put her father to rest. Surrounded by her boys. As a unit they know each other so well and they carry each other through their pain. Lilith, Copeland, Paxton, Ransom, Derek, and Michael are broken inside. But their broken pieces match and are being put together to create a bigger picture.

There’s so much going on considering there are six main characters. They’re going through a lot together, but there are so many other things they’ve experienced on their own that impacts their joint relationship. C.M. kept me drawn in. I was never bored with this story, and never thought the plot started to lag. Roadie, like Groupie, also ends with an HEA, but their journey isn't over. The US portion of the tour has ended and now they'll embark on the world tour. Her boys are still keeping some important things to themselves. For their relationship to work, all things must come out into the open. No matter how ugly or painful. "Bad things happen, people die, hearts are broken, but it's how we walk in the rain of grief that defines us."

RATING: 5/5 STARS ✰✰✰✰✰
