Book Blurb:
How far is too far?
Ask yourself what lines are ones that you would never, under any circumstance, ever cross?
What is unforgivable? Unjustifiable? Deplorable.
What if someone you loved was on the other side of that line?
Would you cross it, if it meant selling your soul to the devil in exchange for their freedom?
Well I’m your worst fucking nightmare and they call me Misfit.
I fix things. People, problems. Your broken heart with my cock. The list is endless.
Until the day I stumbled upon a beautiful Înger who drew the evil right from my bone marrow.
I was lucky enough to see a few posts in a few Facebook Groups where R. Holmes advertised that she was looking for additional ARC readers and was thrilled to find out I would be receiving a copy. You know all my about my love of all books dark and twisty, and this one looked perfect.
“Born a misfit. Lost, broken, damaged. Weak. I took those flaws and turned them into something I could build an empire on. Now I’m ruthless, lawless. I can’t be touched.” Misfit is a self-proclaimed villain, a cold-blooded killer who cannot stand to be touched or to unnecessarily touch other people and has no need for women in his life’s, aside from assuaging his baser needs.
When, by a stroke of fate, Misfit
stumbles across a bruised, battered and bloody Ivy he is instantly
ensnared. Seeing a seemingly innocent woman that badly injured goes
against everything he believes in. He may be a cold-blooded killer, but
he has a moral compass and the people whose lives he ends all deserve
it. Misfit makes it his mission to figure out who’s responsible and make
them regret the day they were born.
When Ivy comes to in the
hospital with no recollection of what got her there and a stranger in
the room with her, she’s very scared. After spending time with the
stranger, she starts to feel an undeniable connection. One Ivy doesn’t
want to fight.
The tension between Misfit and Ivy was steamy. Watching Ivy slowly chip at the ice around his heart was endearing.
Luckily,
Misfits latest mission and his revenge plan merge and allow him to kill
two birds with one stone. Unfortunately for the Sons MC, while they
might’ve won the battle, the war has just begun. Despite Ivy and Misfit
getting their HEA, it doesn’t appear to be the end of their story.
