Evil cannot take hold of an unconsenting soul.
Do not be amazed that hell is empty, since all the devils live here.
One by one, they will meet their hellish fate.
One down…
Three to go.

Easton
A tyrannous society has discovered our most atrocious secret and decided to wage war on us.
They’ve had their fun with Finn, and now it’s my turn to be their little puppet.
Someone should have warned them that I don’t play well with others.
If they think I’m going to bend over and let them screw with my life sans lube, they are sorely mistaken.
I’m no man’s pawn.
At least that’s what I told myself right up to the day I received a little black envelope that mercilessly sealed my fate—they’ve gone after the one person I would sacrifice anything for.

My friends.
Myself.
Even her.

Scarlett
They call him the dark prince of Asheville, a silvered eyed rebel without just cause for his defiance.
But to me, Easton Price is so much more than the mischievous persona he openly flaunts.
He’s the beautiful nightmare I desperately try to resist with clenched teeth and scarred heart.
As the pastor’s niece, I’m considered the epitome of good, while he’s the embodiment of sin.
There’s just one thing wrong with that assumption—I’m not that good.
And Easton is going out of his way to prove it.

*The Society is an Enemies to Lovers, New Adult College Romance.
*Each book may be read as a standalone. However, all four books in this series have an entwined subplot, which will only be resolved in the final book. Therefore it is highly recommended that this series be read in its entirety for full enjoyment.
*Recommended 18+ due to mature language and situations.

Hear No Evil by Ivy Fox

I devoured Hear No Evil. I couldn't wait to uncover each new piece of the puzzle in this series. I didn't think it was possible, but I loved Easton and Scarlett more than Finn and Stone. I have a feeling it will be that way with each of The Society books. I am so excited to eventually get Colt and Lincoln's stories.  I have a feeling they'll be mind-blowing based on what I experienced reading Hear No Evil.

In See No Evil we just started to get a glimpse at the characters and what happened to Lincoln's parents. Right away Hear No Evil delves deeper and exposes more details. We see the aftermath of their murder. My heart was racing so hard! Not long thereafter the boys get their next missive from The Society. They have now moved on to target Easton, after they "successfully destroyed Finn".

The Society lists Easton's target as Scarlett. The girl he's secretly had his eyes on for the last 10 years.  Unfortunately, their relationship is basically nonexistent due to their mutual hate for each other. This hate masks their true desires for each other. In each other's eyes they see a kindred spirit. A kindred soul. Each scene with East and Scar was so fraught with tension. Their sexual chemistry was truly off the charts.

With each chapter little bit more of the puzzle comes out, but more questions have been posed. I have some suspicions regarding who is targeting them, but I also suspect it may be a distraction. Only time will tell with this series. The suspense throughout this book was so enjoyable. Edge of my seat. I couldn't wait to see what East would do. Would he bring Scarlett down and expose her less than angelic side or would he pick her over himself?

Easton is so damaged and flawed due to some secrets from his past. His familial relationships have a huge bearing on the man he is today, and also on the way he perceives himself. I enjoyed how deeply we got to know East since he seemed so superficial at first. Scarlett's character as well had so much depth. Hear No Evil is a 5 star read for me due to the depth of characters, the progression of the story, dialogue and character interaction, and the full out mystery and suspense. I can't wait for remainder of the books to be released. I will be needing this series in paperback to add to my bookshelf.
