Wow! This book! I was enthralled by the concept of Mafia Casanova when Rachel Van Dyken and M. Robinson announced it months ago on their Instagram live. I signed up to get an advanced copy before there was even a blurb. The book hooked me as soon as I hit the prologue. Romeo Sinacore is this total mafia bad@$$. Monica and Rachel wrote a prologue that hits you in the face with that fact. Mind blown immediately.

I loved how seamlessly Monica and Rachel wrote this book. The chapters jumped back and forth between the present and the past, but each timeline continued forward. Each jump gave us more of the story and a bigger picture of Romeo and Eden. Romeo is such a complex character. Ruthless and coldblooded, but wait until you see and feel his heart. Swoon!

The tension throughout Mafia Casanova wound tighter and tighter with each page. Sometimes explosions occurred, but the tension built steadily throughout. I enjoyed every aspect of this book. The dialogue, the mystery, the conflict, the blood, the murder, and (my faves) the steamy sex, and the plot twists. And that HEA and epilogue need a round of applause on their own! I needed more pages!

Let me finish off by saying these ladies have outdone themselves. I am one click preordering the next book. I need more from this mafia world they’ve created. I can’t contain my excitement.
