REVIEW

This was my first Natasha Madison book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Right away we learn Manning is in a difficult, loveless marriage. He’s completely devoted to his son and he won’t jeopardize him regardless of the toll on his own happiness. Evelyn recently moved back home after a falling out with her business partner/ex after he cheated on her.

I truly loved this book because it examines shades of gray instead of just black and white or right and wrong. Manning and Evelyn met one night by chance and were deeply connected from that point forward. I’ve always been firmly against any and all cheating whether it’s in reality or in fiction, but their story made me think a bit more. I love when books make me think and examine things in a different way.

I loved Evelyn and Manning. There was plenty of depth to the characters. Their emotions and the situations they found themselves in were complicated. Their circumstances were not so cut and dried. I found myself rooting for them to find their way to an HEA.

Only One Night is the third in a series. I haven’t read the prior books in this series just yet, but I have added them to my never-ending TBR. I definitely plan to continue with the next book due out in February.
