I’m so happy I had the opportunity to read an ARC of Sheriff’s Secret. As with all of Kristi’s book, this one was well written, emotional and an absolute page turner.

I got sucked into Brigs Ferry Bay from page one and didn’t want to stop reading until I got to the end. Jaxon and Dante were such great characters, but I loved all the secondary characters as much as I loved them! I’m so excited that this is a series because I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Kian, Callan, Cato, Zak and all the other guys we’ve yet to meet.

Despite their rocky start, Jax & Dante’s love story is a fast burn. Prepare yourself because this is one spicy read! While this book will set you on fire, it’s still an emotional read that deals with some very real factors of being gay in a small town.

I loved every second of this book and liked the crime-solving aspect of the book as well. I also really enjoy novels that don’t follow the typical romance novel format. I was a little worried that this would be too predictable, but it definitely wasn’t.
