BOOK BLURB

It’s hard to deny a Devil …
Especially one who promises you a night you’ll never forget.

One night.
No exchanging names.
No exchanging numbers.

That was the deal we made.
I was moving away. I’d never see him again and I wanted to leave Sun Valley with zero regrets.
Only I got more than I bargained for and nine months later delivered a bundle of joy complete with ten tiny fingers and ten perfect toes.

A year and a half later, I’m back.
And this Devil is no longer the devil in my dreams. Now he haunts my nightmares.
He’s savage.
He’s sinful.
And I’m barely a blip on his radar.

I came with good intentions. Determined to tell him the truth. But with so much on the line, I’m beginning to reconsider.
Because making a deal with the devil again just might be another mistake.

REVIEW

Savage Devil sucked me in so hard. I almost read Bibiana and Emilio’s story in one sitting. I love secret baby romances, and high school bully romances. This combination was magic. Daniela tells such a unique version by combining these tropes.

We meet Bibiana when she's preparing to attend a party with her best friend as a last hurrah before leaving town. She meets Emilio and their chemistry is instantly off the charts steamy. They decide to have a one night stand, and to keep things interesting they decide not to share names.

The book picks up 18 months later, and we find out Bibiana's family has moved back to town. She is also a mom. Unfortunately, she had no way of tracking down Emilio after their hookup. Life is different now for Bibiana, and to achieve her goals she has to attend public school. Not long thereafter she and Emilio come face to face. Bibi has to find a way to tell him he’s now a father.

Everything isn’t smooth sailing for these two. Emilio feels abandoned. Bibiana is afraid to trust the school’s manwhore. When Emilio does learn of his child I was shocked by how the scene came about, and everything turned out. These characteristics had a high maturity level in my opinion.

In the acknowledgments Daniela mentions she wanted to showcase the struggles young moms experience on a day to day basis. I have to say very well done. She also highlights the importance of family, and that family isn't always blood.

Things hit a crisis point for them in different ways and Bibi and Emilio didn’t handle things perfectly. I loved how unpredictable to story was, and I really enjoyed the depth of this book. Which is great. Some people are hesitant to read high school bully romances, because they don't want to read about spoiled children. Don't be afraid of Daniela's books. So good! I can't wait for the next Devils of Sun Valley High book focusing on Dominique.
